Cancelled at Brown U on WED the 28th

Well folks we like it when the weather cooperates but tomorrow (wed 28th) looks like it is going to be miserable rain all day, so unfortunately Cutie pies will not be there. Sorry for everyone who is craving pie but rain and flaky crust just don't mix. But don't worry, we will be at the Downtown Friday market in Kennedy plaza from 10 -2. Look us up then. Thanks everybody.

Friday oven can cancellation

Hey there, folks!

Just letting y'all know, while our burner situation is good, the ovens are still out and won't be completely repaired until tomorrow afternoon. Which means we're out of commission. I'll be down at the market anyway to take care of some other business but as far as the Cutie, we'll be out until tomorrow night. Very sorry, we're working with what we've got. Deliveries will go out tomorrow night as planned, and we'll be back in full swing for next week's markets.
Thanks.

Bad weather and broken ovens, Oh My!!

Hey all!

Sorry for no update last week. With all the bad weather we couldn't really get on out. Pie and rain do not mix.

Unfortunatly, we're having to call off our Weds. Brown Market this week as well. Why? It's called three hours to bake four trays. Unheard of!! Our oven, which was recently replaced, has decided to simply die. We'll have this little technical difficulty taken care of by Friday, we hope.

Which means we'll be at the Friday Downtown market!! With what, you ask? Well, a bit of a hodge podge. Look for some more Thai Green Tea Pie, it's been such a hit I've made it until my fingers are raw. We'll also have some pumpkin, cause 'tis the season, and a little Harvest Apple Pear.... also, because we did it for Perishable Theater this past Monday to much Cheer, Passion Pear. You'll have to come and take to see what exactly could make a pear passionate.

Alright, so that's it for now. If anyone needs delivery give a shout, and wish us luck on the ovens!

Thai Green Tea Pie and, wait for it, Pumpkin!

Hey all! A little late, this week. Just figuring out the week.

Our Wednesday market was canceled (by me) because of foul weather. Many apologies, y'all, had no idea it would clear up like it did, though it was nasty all day.

Friday, tomorrow, we'll be downtown at the Burnside Park/Kennedy Plaza market from 11-2.

This Saturday is the next to last at Lippit Park, so if you haven't gotten down there, do so now! We'll be there from 9-4, and boy howdy, there's some awesome vendors there, other than yours truly.

Now to the pies.... ok, so I've been experimenting. Playing and having a wonderful time at it. My thought was that, seeing just how popular the Sweet Chai Pie has been, maybe a toe should be dipped into the other teas. In comes Thai Green Tea Pie. This is a soft, sweet green tea whip melded with a little coconut and just a hint of lime. I have, honestly, out freakin' done myself. I don't often say that, but this is a little bit of pie genius that I just can't wait to unleash on y'all.

Next we're going a little more classic. I know the wonky flavors aren't for everyone, so just to keep things cool there will be a nice, classic Pumpkin Pie. Y'all know what it is, no need to explain, but I will say the pumpkins I've gotten have been just divine.

Last, we'll have a little Apple Pie for the Saturday market. Yes, I know I don't always split flavors like that, but it's been requested and the Friday market's bake time is all set aside. So if you'd like a little classic Apple, give a shout or just head to the Saturday market at Lippit Park.

Hope everyone's having a great week, look forward to seeing y'all with a little extra Cutie Quiche, some cornbread and those killer Cinnamon rolls at the markets. If you don't come because of the holiday weekend, make sure you do something wonderful!

Rain cancellation 10/2

Hey y'all!! Just in case you haven't seen the weather, it's crap tomorrow. I mean... go to the movies crap. Usually Cutie Pies won't work in harsh rain, but even the Open Market people said that was just too much, and they NEVER cancel!
Still on for Sunday! That's a rain or shine event, so give us a shout, show up and have some silly, wonderful pie. Have a great rainy day, none the less!
